A Feature Film by Steve Zeifman It was 1916, the world was embarking on war, when two extraordinary people found each other and created what would become one of the greatest bodies of work in the history of art. In so doing, they opened America's eyes to a completely new way of seeing and understanding. Their lives, still to this day, resonate with millions of people because they believed that freedom of expression was sacrosanct. At this pivotal moment in our lives, it appears that what was found in the small rooms of 291 Fifth Avenue can remind us that all we hold dear was created by free men and women. This story is dedicated to them. Pre-production work has begun in Santa Fe, New Mexico. |
